CiviMember info exported with Advanced Search
October 30, 2009, 02:03:04 pm
I am using version 2.2.8 with drupal.  Some of our users want to be able to export membership information with an advanced search export.  For example, for phone banking to be able to export a users contact information as well as when their membership expires.  I haven't been able to find a way to enable civiMember info. to be exported with advanced search fields.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Colleen

Colleen - The CiviReport "Membership Detail" report ALMOST gets you there - since you can configure it to show email and address info along w/ the membership info. You would have to do some coding to get the phone number available - but might not be too hard to do if you have a resource with some PHP skills. I suspect this would be useful to other folks as well - so consider posting your changes here if you go down this road.

Actually - it was so easy to do (and really seemed like a useful addition to the report) - that I went ahead and added it for 3.1:
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-5324

Pretty sure the change could be applied to your 2.2.8 install if you don't want to wait for 3.1 - you can get a diff from the Fisheye tab on that issue once the commit is picked up (probably in about an hour).
