Recurring Contribution option for sites using PayPal Website Payment Pro

Civi 3.1.1 Installed

I have paypal pro found the recurring payments option under the » Contribution Amounts page

Next to the box  to check there is a note that says(This feature requires that you use 'PayPal Website Standard' OR 'PayJunction' as your payment processor.)

When I enable the recurring payments option and make a payment using a credit card the transaction never finishes I get to the process my payment screen and then it locks up.

If I refresh I am sent back to contribution page.

On the back end the contribution is marked as pending.
