I do website design for a living.. but i have never used drupal.. I generally use open source carts like zen cart for shopping and then use wordpress to build basic websites for content management because thats about all the clients I get can handle.. IF THAT

So i built this website usinng wordpress here:
http://thegirlspotct.com

They are a fitness center and would like to manage their registration online. it hink what you have is absolutely perfect and would really like to integrate it into this website. The main integration that I would like to see is to be able to put the calender inside of a wordpress page (i can probably do this using the WP template function) OR pulling the calendar code and placing it (along with its headers) into a wordpress page template.

Now, the major source of concern for me comes from where the user database is. I understand (i think) that the reason for using drupal is to use their user management system correct?? Is there a way to just use the drupal user login JUST to hold the database of user and use the back end of the CRM to manage how those users work on the calendar site??

Any help is great appreciated.

I am not sure I understand what you are after exactly. There is however a way to make sure that a Drupal user is also immediately a CiviCRM user, but again...not sure if that helps. Can you explain a little more about what you are trying to achieve?

ok.. well basically want to integrate a WORDPRESS USER as a calander/event user.

So when someone creates an account on my wordpress site, they will be able to register for their class that I set up in the admin

I basically want wordpress to do the user management instead of drupal because I do not see any need to have drupal AND wordpress available on my server.. it seems kind of silly.

we dont think its impossible. Its just a matter of someone stepping up and doing the integration (or if not a developer, sponsoring someone to do the needed work). Are you interested in being that person? A few folks have asked about it, but no one has done the work as yet Sad

I have a developer on staff that is interested in doing somethin glike this. I am ok with putting up some of the money to pay him, but I need to get a quoted price for the rest.

HOWEVER, i have found quite a few short coming when it comes to what I need to use this for, and I do not now know if it is worth it for me to put the effort into it.
