Country :: Singapore dont have a state!
«

Hi guys,
keep up the good work!
I have discovered that Singapore don't have a state. It is a City State.
When selecting the country as Singapore. The state follows but in civicrm state is not defined as City State, hence when user selects the country as Singapore then the state select option gets STUCK!!
Did this strike anybody? How to overcome this issue?
Thanks

There is an issue in the system to fix this bug. Bermuda is another example. check this issue:
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-5427
there is a temporary work-around in there. If you can submit a patch for this issue that would be great. We can help u get started on IRC

Hi Lobo,
I found a way around!
I edited the data base tables and inserted a City-State-Singapore in the
table "civicrm_state_province" inserted a state called as City-State-Singapore
new id for state as 10020
name of the state as City State - Singapore
abbreviation as SING
country id as 1191
it works!
