Should I hold off on Upgradign Drupal to 6.16?

i just noticed the security update for Drupal 6 and we have a big fundraiser coming up. Is CiviCRM 3.0 compatible with 6.16, can I upgrade safely or are there special considerations and/or configuration changes I should make before upgrading?

3.0 should work with drupal 6.16, but I would recommend you should also upgrade CiviCRM 3.0.x to 3.1.x

So you suggest first upgr to 3.1 and then upgr to 6.16? Or the other way around?
