Hello,
I am sure there is an easy fix to this, maybe other than a manual installation. My situation is this, I am working on a server administered by Aegir, therefore the path to pressflow drupal installs and therefore to civicrm is:

/data/disk/drupal/distro/001/civi1
/data/disk/drupal/distro/001/civi2
/data/disk/drupal/distro/001/civi3

I am not looking for a multi-site installation, I just can't seem to get the installer to work. Anyway, that's why I was wondering if there are manual installation instructions for 3.2, I have them for 2.0 versions and was not sure if anything has changed.

Thanks

your best bet might be to install civicrm in the "default" place and then move it over to the aegir branch and fix the settings file

you might also want to check:

http://civicrm.org/blogs/scyrma/civicrm-and-aegir

and check with koumbit on the current status. I also know davej from circle has been installing civi via aegir recently so they might be of more help

Hi Jen,

One of my colleagues has been looking at using Civi with Aegir; we decided to treat a combination of Drupal + Civi as a platform, so e.g. we would have a platform comprising Drupal 6.17 + Civi 3.1.6 . Thus Civi is installed in the standard sites/all/modules/ in our case.

Could you post details of the problem you're seeing?
