Cannot uncheck 'contact is deceased'

Have installed civicrm in a few test environments and seem to have most of it working well and installed with no error messages, etc.

However, no matter what i do - whenever i check that a contact is deceased, then go back and un check the selection and save it - the contact stays deceased. I cannot un-decease a contact.

Regardless of the metaphysical implications - is this a reported bug? Other changes are saved without a problem. I can't figure this one out. A little help please.

You know, some conditions are permanent.  Seems entirely appropriate that being deceased is permanent, even in CiviCRM.

This should be fixed in 1.9 (and hence 2.0). You can help verify this by testing it at http://sandbox.civicrm.org/
