Campaign Type in Advanced search

Hi everyone

I would like to add a drop down field contribution type, in Advanced search >> Contribution tab. I have managed to add the field using buildForm hook, but not sure how to include the selected option in the search query.

Can anyone help me to do this please.

The search queries are not alterable via a hook currently

they are pretty complex queries and i'm not sure if altering them would be easy

if you'd like to work on adding hook support to the search queries for the next release that would be great. please ping us on IRC
