Excellent Manchester meet up yesterday

Just thought I'd post a quick comment here to let other know that we had a great meet up session yesterday in Manchester. Much credit and thanks to Oliver Gibson and Heather Oliver for coordinating, organising, facilitating and otherwise making it all happen. A great turnout, including someone all the way from Nottingham. Lots of good energy, and plans to operate something on a quarterly basis. Ollie said he's put up a blog post with a bit more, so look out for that. Maybe others who participated in the meet up could post a comment to this message so that we know who each other are.

Spurred on by yesterday's success, I'm also working on plans to put together a similar type of event - probably in Leeds - later in the Spring. Let me know if you are interested in coming along to that.

Cool - looking forward to Olly's blog post and finding out why it worked so well

In part because Olly is such a charming host, in part because everyone there approached the session with a very positive and open attitude. I was impressed simply with the level of interest in terms of numbers showing up, and the fact that we all seemed pretty keen. Energising! Someone wandered off with my printed copy of 'A Comprehensive Guide', but I don't mind, as long is to goes to a good home.
