Test Mailing

Hi there,

we have been trying out the mass mailings by sending our selves test mails. The test mail though seems to have problems generating the contact custom token.
We've always been thinking the tokens would not work and tried to avoid using the contact custom token in mass mailings.
Two days ago I realized that it's only not working in the test mail. I also always wondered why the token was displayed correctly in the mail preview. 
Does anyone know how to solve that problem?

This is a bug and should be fixed. Can u please file an issue at http://issues.civicrm.org/

if you can take a look and figure out what is happening and why that would help. We'll try to get that fix into 4.2
