Opt Out / Unsubscribes not working right for Scheduled Mailings

I read here that the list of users who Opt Out is incorporated at the time a mailing is created, not when it's sent: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-8811 [nofollow] so I applied that patch even though it was supposedly incorporated in 3.4.6 and I'm running 3.4.7 (my code was still old) Can someone verify if unsubscribes have the same issue? EG if someone unsubscribes from a list after a mailing has already been scheduled will it not take them off the mailings until new mailings are created? This seems problematic if you're looking to set up a lot of your mailings ahead of time with the scheduler.

yes, this is a problem if you schedule a lot of mailings ahead of time.
