How to set up more than 1 renewal reminder for a membership type?

When I go to this page: http://drupal6.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/member/membershipType?action=add&reset=1 I note that I have only 1 option for 1 renewal reminder on the bottom of the page, but what about if I want to have more than 1 reminder? Is it possible?

You could configure multiple reminders for memberships in 4.2 using Scheduled Reminder functionality.

I knew i'd seen something about multiple reminders in the forum - have a look at this. It was done for Civi3.4 but perhaps it will work with 4.1??
