All contributions disappeared after upgrade to 4.1.5
(1/1)
flug:
After a recent upgrade from 3.3.1 to 4.1.5, all the contributions in the database appear to be missing.
Searching for contributions always finds no contributions and looking at individual contact records that have made contributions, they now show 0 contributions.
Any ideas about how this might have happened or how best to recover? Has this happened to anyone else?
I had to upgrade through several versions as outline here: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=25633.0
Kurund Jalmi:
Can you check if your db has contribution records? ( civicrm_contribution table ) I hope you had backed up your db, if so then you should revert back to 3.3.1

OK, on further checking it appears that the contribution records survived the upgrade from 3.3 to 4.1.5. The problem came later, when deleting some contribution pages. When you delete contribution pages, the associated contributions (and other related items like addresses and activities) are all deleted.
However, many more contributions (and addresses/activities) where deleted than should have been.
At any rate, it is not an upgrade issue at all so I will close this out here & ask the question in a more appropriate subforum. Link to the new question is here.

Kurund,
Thanks for the suggestion. There were previously about 840 records in the civicrm_contribution table and afterwards, about 20.
