There will be several folks at this sprint who will be concentrating on polishing the documentation and code for Accounting Integration that is coming out in version 4.3.

Discuss any and all things you want to address and conquer at this sprint below.

Is this sprint separate from the training event? (http://civicrm.org/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=241)
Same location?

I want to replace my old IATS payment processor plugin with a new one that uses the new IATS 'web services' (i.e. SOAP) interface and the extensions framework.

In the process, would like to document how to write payment processor plugins.

Also happy to help with the Canadian Tax receipts module, particularly adding views integration to the D6 version and maybe some default views so that administrators can keep track of who's been issued what and when.

Heh demeritcowboy,

The RNAO is donating space for two two-day trainings in November, and then a 3 day Sprint in December. Same location, different events. Would love for you to participate in Sprint and also in trainings. See my email.

Cheers,
Joe

Hello Everyone,

I am attending from Freeform Solutions and I am interesting in working on lot's of things.
On the top of the list we would definitely like to help out as well with the tax receipts module. Ideas so far:
  • Have it use the libraries module for loading TCPDF since many sites will have this library already due to the print module
  • Stabilizing the D7 version. It didn't seem to work out the box for me
  • Having the ability to issue the receipts in bulk - from the contributions search page for example
Freeform Solutions provides technology and management consulting, website and database development, and managed internet hosting solutions for not-for-profit organizations (NFPs).

Hi,

I'll actually be at the Code sprint myself and have started talking to Alan and Jake about working on the CiviCRM Tax Receipts module. Would be great to have you join us. On top of our list is Views Integration (to create an overview of receipted contributions) and getting the module ready to be submitted for full Drupal project status.

PS - if D7 didn't work out of the box for you - feel free to open an issue in the Sandbox: http://drupal.org/sandbox/semperit/1289724 - and I'll look into it.

can we also add:

* move the tax receipts module to a CiviCRM extension
* add tests to ensure that the module works

for the sprint. Tim will be around, so can definitely help with the above two
