Phantom registrations for event (Participants have the same "Registered" date)

We have created an event and allowed online registrations. Checking the Events dashboard shows 9 participants registered.

Drilling down shows they all have the same date in the "Registered" column.

Drilling into each registration shows no linked payments.

Where could these be coming from? Any help, much appreciated.
