I've filled in the "Pre Form Help" (Explanatory text displayed at the beginning of this group of fields.)  under Custom Data, Settings but then the text is not displayed on my Contribution Page form that includes that group name.  What do I need to do?

You need to fill the pre-form help for the profile that you include in the contribution page.
