Rego form address details, enable user to select if home/work etc

This may have come up before - when a person is signing up the Reg'n form, we can't presume if they are giving us their home or work address details. So would be great if we could have the address fields, and a checkbox for them to specify if this is home/work/postal etc. Sound sensible?

I think that would be a great option. It should be top level though, not an option per field. In other words, it should treat the address fields as a block, assigned to a specific location.

I usually dump into the primary type, and use a custom field to query if it's a home address (requiring follow up to change the address type if it is).

The team discussed this today - and agreed that it would be a good addition. We discussed implementation approach and I filed an issue for 2.4 (since 2.3 is overloaded at this point).

As usual, contributing code / patch can make this happen sooner.
