Replies to mailings not being forwarded as expected after upgrade to 2.2

Hi!

I use a hosted Joomla service, where Civimail is configured with the alternative return path. This has worked well under 2.1, but after upgrade to 2.2 it seems that replies to mailings are not forwarded as expected. In the output from imap2soap.pl, I get reports like these:

However, no mails are forwarded to the adress set as From when composing the mail. I did not check the "Override VERP adress" checkbox.

Any suggestions what to check, or what is going on here? Did I miss something in the upgrade?
