I've just implemented a fix to show 'member since' (join date) on the contact's membership tab & dashboard.

It was pretty trivial to do (tpl change only) but it seems to be something lots of our customers want so I think I should commit it to core. Do people agree?

Also while I'm at it I think join_date needs to be assigned to the on-line receipt tpls (so it's available for inclusion)
