Including a Member field in Profile causes receipt problems

So in a profile include some Contact and Membership fields - use Profile in a Membership Page - set 'receipts' to be sent.

Using Default System Templates the receipt that comes out has all the Custom Fields in the Profile outputting as eg "custom_46   Array"

Disabling the field still causes all the Contact-type fields to output incorrectly.

Removing the field returns the output to normal ie "Field Name    Field value"

I haven't tried with ONLY membership fields in the profile.

I tried the same on my local 3.2 branch, but was not able to replicate and everything looks fine in email reciept.
