CiviContribute and FeedGator pseudo-cron Plugin problems

Folks,

I think I've FINALLY found the root of all of my intermittent CIVICRM Problems.

In Joomla 1.5 with Civicrm 3.4.8, it was this:  http:forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,23246.msg98130.htm

Both issues were intermittent... with widespread reported problems by my users.  I noticed in the Civicrm 4.1 scenario, the problem would disappear once I cleared the cache... specifically those files in COM_PLUGINGS Cache.

So, I started (one by one) shutting off plugins that I had added.  One of the first ones I tried turning off is the " FeedGator pseudo-cron Plugin".  This plugin simulates a CRON Job.  That is, when a user goes to your site, the plugin check to see if it updated your RSS feeds since the last selected interval.  By default, it's set to run every 5 minutes... and that's about how often I was able to replicate the problem.

Shutting off this plugin seems to have made the problem disappear!

Now... how do I check what the conflict is?  I'd like to report this over to the feedgator folks.
