Proposal to change multisite to improve performance

I have added discussion to the wiki as to how to improve performance for multisite by restructuring it such that group nesting is only used where required to give contact permissions & group_organization links denote which domains should see a given group

Can you confirm that the first link is *current* behaviour and the second is *proposed*? The first uses phrases like 'will be' so I'm getting a bit confused? (It's been a hectic week, so brain not working so well today!)

yeah - that's how it's meant to be - although I wrote them as one document & merged them into the the existing wiki so it might not be that clear. The short of it is that I am trying to separate the functionality that exposes contacts from that the exposes groups because the functionality that exposes contacts (nesting) is too performance-expensive to use for the more trivial requirements around exposing groups.
