Online Registration breaks mapping

Reproduced on demo site: Enabling online registration for Events breaks mapping.

I did this on the Fall Fundraiser Dinner. Once online registration is enabled, mapping will no longer work from the View Event Info Page, even if registration is once again disabled. Mapping still works from the Summary page.

After enabling online registration once, rather than the expected URL being generated when the location is mapped - e.g.:

http://<domain_name>/civicrm/contact/map/event?eid=1&reset=1

The page simply reloads with the following URL structure:

http://<domain_name>/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=1

Mapping from the View Event Info page is now currently "broken" for the Fall Fundraiser Dinner on the demo site. I would say this qualifies as a fairly major bug.

This is a bug. It only happens when the event is full.

can you please file an issue, we'll fix this for 2.1

Thank you for confirming I haven't completely lost my mind - lost most of the day yesterday trying to figure out what was going on.

Workaround seems to be always posting a maximum number of participants - that seems to alleviate the problem.

I'm not sure what's involved with officially "filing an issue"  - would it be too much to ask to pass this along? Thanks so much - you guys (and girls) are amazing.

Going forward - you can file definite bugs like this by going to the "Issue Tracker", creating an account if you don't have one, and filling in the Create New Issue form.

I am experiencing a similar problem, "Map this location" redirects back to the event/info instead of showing the map.

However, my event isn't full -- I just created it. I've toggled online registration and the map doesn't work either way. In the event's "Event Location" admin page, the fields for longitude and latitude will not retain entered information and revert to zeros.
