Google Checkout and Recurring Payments
June 11, 2009, 06:49:43 pm
A fairly large number of Non profits are looking at Google Checkout seriously as a payment gateway because of the low discount rates and the security.  It would be very valuable to get under the engine and be able to handle recurring payments through google's checkout.  Does anyone know of any development in this area?

Thanks

check:

http://code.google.com/apis/checkout/developer/Google_Checkout_Beta_Features.html

if you would like to sponsor this feature and/or put developer resources on it to build the code that would be awesome and much appreciated by the community. I suspect its a 50-100 hour project.

How much of a sponsorship would get this thing developed?

I would like to see it developed.  Willing to go in at $500.00 to start.  Is there a way to start a fund to get this thing rolling?

you might want to use http://www.fundable.org/ (note that we are not connected to that org) and try to raise the money there

Have there been any updates around recurring donations for Google Checkout? I'd be interested in using this for my non-profit.
