How can I delete the numbers from {domain.address} token?
July 15, 2009, 07:39:48 am
Hi,
I can't understand how I can change my {domain.address} token.
I read the wiki and change it from here http://www.philanthropy.it/civicrm/admin/mailSettings but everytime I change it and I send an email I have this:

mailto:francescoo.18.18.ad92335436d739ed@philanthropy.it
or in the next email
mailto:francescoo.19.19.ad92335436d739ed@philanthropy.it and so on.

How can i delete all the numbero before @philanthropy.it? What are they from?

Thanks

Francesco

that does not seem to be the format of domain.address (which is typically the physical address)

neither does it look like the opt-out or unsubscribe address, so a bit confused/lost here

I post a screenshot (http://www.internet-fundraising.it/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/Account-posta-Philanthropy-Centro-Studi.png) of the page where I setup the {domain.address} token (http://www.philanthropy.it/civicrm/admin/mailSettings)

Does it seems to you that there is something wrong? I'm so confused about this thing that happen to me.

Thanks for helping me.

can u upgrade to 2.2.7 to ensure that the bugs have been fixed

if the problem still occurs after the upgrade, can u ping us on IRC. If we get ssh access we can logon and try to figure out whats going on and why

thanx

I believe the reference to {domain.address} is a red herring. The problem is the verp formatted reply-to e-mail addresses don't look like expected. (being clarified on IRC)
