Hey,

I checked the code and page title should be translated as well, there shouldn't be any bugs there. Can you clean the templates cache and see if it helps?

Alright so it still does not seem to be working. The translations in general may actually not be working as a team member pointed out as apparently participants are by default attached to events (which i thought had been translated but apparently not). Here are the various things I tried:
- used the british english .po
- used poedit to translate the necessary strings by opening every .po file and searching for "individual" and replaced each place with "participant"
- these are saved in a dir "\drupal\sites\all\modules\civicrm\l10n\en_OO" - both .po and .mo files are here
- cleared cache in browser
- cleared cache in my templates_c folder (ps, in my templates_c folder is en_US, and in en_US are en_OO and en_US - is that right?) by removing the various folders within the latter two folders
- i did the attrib -r +s to the templates folder as seen on another post
- went into admin console and chose en_OO as the default language within the localization menu
- also enabled "Content translation" and "locale" modules in the drupal admin console

Again, I'm thinking that nothing is actually translating and I'm not quite sure why... any help is greatly appreciated!

I used a program called PoEdit to edit the .po files. It lets you take a string and then in another field you type the translation. Then when you tell it to save, it saves the file as a .mo (this is where I was assuming that meant it was compiled <-- is it?)

As far as the strings being translated, we've come to the conclusion that none are getting translated. I think the confusion came in that participants is already the term used for events, they don't call them individuals - i.e. we thought this was a translation but it was built-in. So from the steps I listed before do you have any ideas why the translation isn't working?

Thanks a ton Michal! That was in fact the problem. I did not have all of my .mo files in one civicrm.mo file!
