Event self-duplicating!
December 27, 2009, 09:09:32 am
I have CiviCRM 2.2.0 with Drupal 6.
I'm having a really weird problem. I have one event, but it seems to self-duplicate itself randomly. Today I logged in and I saw 300 copies of my event. They are named like: Copy of Copy of Copy of Copy of Copy of Copy of Copy of Copy of ISIS conference  (ID: 261)

When it does this, it also seems to randomly disable/enable my original event as well. I have no idea why it's happening, and I tried searching everywhere (inc this forum) to see if people have similar issues but I couldn't find an answer.

Anyone else knows about this?

your permissions are not set up right :(

ensure that anonymous user does not have permission for "access CiviEvent". the search engine bots are most likely causing the copy and copies of copies

Thank you kind sir. I fixed the permission issue. I hope that fixes the problem.

Have just had the same issue.

Have almost 3000 events.

Any way to bulk delete them?

I guess only way to delete unwanted events is via SQL.
