Dashlets all report 'false'
December 28, 2009, 06:15:21 am
Can drag and drop OK, but each dashlet just reports 'false'. There is some (not much) data for it to report on - so any suggestions what is wrong?

(Running - beta 3).

What happens if you click on "Refresh Dashboard Data" ?

If I ask it to refresh, it does look as if it is trying (i.e. it does the 'thinking' icon), but the conclusion is the same.

Ed - can you enable Firebug and open it's console and reload to see if any javascript errors are reported from the ajax calls.

No, all report 200 OK.
Some of the reports probably don't have anything to report, but the membership and activities reports should have something to say so "false" is an odd response.

Are you on CiviCRM v3.1 beta4? If not can you upgrade and check if that solves your problem.

Yes, on beta 4. Sadly, it doesn't alter a thing.
I take it that other people using Joomla are having no problems with these?

I can check on your install if you can provide me these details: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/SSH+Access+Requirements

Hi

I'm facing the same problem running 3.1.6Beta, did you find what was wrong?

Running on Centos 5.4 if that makes any difference?

Thanks

Parvez

No, still got the problem in beta6, but just been too busy with work to try to get any further with this. The impact on me is low as its a back end issue only.
