Need Help with a Report

Setting up CiviCRM with Drupal for Church.

So far this is what I've got going. (I'm still in the setup phase and not completely live yet)

I'll be using the following modules in the following ways:
CiviCase (to handle things such as Premarital Counseling sessions)
CiviContribute (to eventually handle all donations, pledges, etc)
CiviEvent (this is where all Public services that aren't specific to a particular contact will be entered .... i.e. all public worship services, any classes we offer, conferences etc)
CiviMailings (for obvious uses...newsletter, prayer chain, etc.)
CiviMemberships (where we will keep track of new members, long time members, etc.)
CiviReports (to run all our various reports needed for various things).


I think I've got a handle on everything except for the Report side. I've searched and read what I could....I'm not a programmer by trade (i'm a priest) I do dabble with php and javascript and am familiar with other languages but not enough I could write anything from scratch. I can tweak most any script to get it to do what I need though.

I'm looking for someone to create or help create a report that I need for reporting to the Diocesan office each month. I think if Someone would create this report for me It'd give me a base for which I could create any other report I needed. (with lots of prayer and cussing of course) ;D

It's a Summary report really....but it would be pulling info from Cases, Events, and Activities.

Cases are currently being used to track:
Interactions with Contacts which take multiple encounters. (i.e. Counseling Sessions)


Events are currently being used to track:
Public Worship Services
Classes offered
Special Events
(basically anything open to the public and not tied to a specific contact)

Activities are currently being used to track:
Baptisms
Weddings
Funerals
Private Masses (in home/hospital)
Hospital Visitations
Reconciliation (confession)
Unction (anointing of the sick)
Pastoral Counseling
(any action that is specific to one or two persons)

I need a report that will allow me to specify a date range (typically the previous month) and it would give me a summary report similar to the following (see also the attached pdf:

**Sacerdotal**

Baptisms: 3
Attendance: 25

Weddings: 1
Attendance: 100

Public Masses: 10
Attendance: 300  (this would be the total of all in attendance at each service pulled from a custom field)

Premarital Counseling: 1

Unction: 2
Attendance: 4

**Administrative**
(this would be pulled from Activity section of all contacts who are a Member of the Clergy group.)

Hours doing social justice ministry: ____________
Hours spent studying: ______________
Hours spent on ministry planning: _____________
Total hours spent on your primary ministry: ______


**Income/Expense**
(this would be gathered from the contribution module...This is where it might get interesting. Differentiating between person and ministerial income. The personal income would be any income paid to the priest for officiating at a wedding, funeral, etc. an Honorarium. This would be tracked as a contribution from the individual to a particular Contribution Type (ie. Officiant Fee) with a custom data group to gather whether it was a stipend paid and to whom the stipend was paid to. So the "personal income" sections would depend on that. The ministerial income would be any contribution like from a Sunday Worship Service offering. The expenses hmmm I'm still working on trying to figure that out. Possibly have a contribution type labeled as Expense and enter stuff there...dunno.)

**General Comments**

(this section is an open text area where additional info could be entered. Though I'm not certain if this would work on the actual report or not since I don't think it saves each report ran but instead just pulls the info each time dynamically. If that's the case then the General Comments section could be entered into the Notes section of the Diocesan Contact Record and have the report automatically pull any of those notes entered for the date range of the report and add to the end of the report.)

Anyone willing to help in creating this for me?  It would typically always be emailed and/or printed.
