I've just been caught by this bug on a live site, and spent over an hour tracing it down to this thread. Any idea when this one might get fixed? It does seem pretty important.

AFAIK, this was fixed as of 3.1.3. All OK since then, on this end.

Not fixed in my install of 3.1.3 on Drupal 6.16

you might want to upgrade to 3.1.4. There were close to 100 bug fixes and improvements and might have fixed your issues

Now that I think about it, I may have patched 3.1.3 manually to get it to work - 3.1.4 is definitely the way to go.

I am glad to discover this thread.  I have been having the same problem for the past 2 weeks.  I am running 3.13 and 6.15.  I have reinstalled database, restored from prior versions, but continue to have this problem.  Glad to know the cause/bug has been discovered and will anxiously await any news/update.  Thanks!
