Easy: open firebug, click on the tab, you'll see the url that is called for that tab. right click on it, open in a new tab (firefox tab), add &smartyDebug=1 and see all the variables.

And much easier to test for html, but the javascript won't work (the jquery is loaded by the main page I'm correct).
