Being able to reproduce issues on demo helps finding and fixing issues a lot easier (even the one character typos :)

u can help improve the project by participating in the make it happen initiative (initiated by eileen m):

I was coming back to finally post the fix, which works in 3.1.5 (it is what Neil discovered).  however, in the meantime, I am testing a 3.3.2 upgrade, and the price set search does not work in 3.3.2.  It pulls the price set columns, but all data is "0".

Has anyone fixed this for 3.3?

Hi mariagwyn,

IMO current behavior is like :
Price set field value will get populate only for those registered participants if the respective event has price set configured.
If event does not have price set configured and has normal fee amount than we are populating zero.

One more thing is that if some participants register for event when event has price set configured than we populate Price set field value for that participant .And if participants register for same event when event has  normal fee amount configured than we are populating zero.

Hope this help

Sushant,

My events all have price sets.  The price sets are for things like optional breakfasts, special events, etc.  The price includes the fee for the event itself as well.  We have a variable fee structure.

The problem is that there is no way to find out what special events individuals are registering for if there is no search on price sets.  As I said, we got the script working for 3.1.4, but I was hoping to upgrade to 3.3.2.  The search in 3.1.4 populates 0 and 1 when appropriate, but 3.3.2 is all 0.

Perhaps I don't understand your reasoning, but as it is, I just can't see how the current search 'works' if it does not pull who registered for what event on the price set.
