Urgent - Expiration date error with Authorize.net
July 06, 2010, 02:31:04 pm
We have client trying to go live with Authorize.net.

When transactions are submitted we get the error

": 1:7 Credit card expiration date is invalid."

We have other clients using AIM and have not see this error.

We're on civi 3.0.4

Thanks
   Dave

There appears to be a problem with the date formatting on the payment forms.

One the sites that work the expiration month select shows the month abbreviation (Jan, Feb..)
On the broken site the expiration month is a two digit number (01, 02...)

Both sites have the creditcard date configured exactly the same in the date settings.

Is there some other setting that would controll this?

Thanks

The client had changed the format of the input date. As a result, I believe "/" was added to the date value when it was send to AIM.
