Premium Fulfillment Date - Bad Behavior

I'm experiencing bad UI and form behavior with the fulfillment date when I'm creating/editing a contribution record manually in the backend

POSSIBLE BUG #1 - Clearing the fulfillment date does remove the date form the textbox, but on SAVE it doesn't properly save the value as NULL in the database...instead leaves the previous value.

I was able to recreated this issue in the online Drupal Demo for 3.2  and I don't see an issue on the bug tracker.

Thought I'd start here first and see what folks thought before I tried to patch and submit a bug report.

POSSIBLE BUG #2 - Probably related to the above issue.  When a new contribution is created manually in the backend, and a "Premium" is selected, the fulfillment date stays blank (which is desired) but when you save the new contribution, the fulfillment date is set to today's date(not desired)

Again...tested on Drupal 3.2 DEMO, and my Joomla 3.1.5 install

Kiran's 3.2 patch tested on my Joomla/CiviCRM 3.1.5 as working....

I'm removing my previous suggested patch to avoid confusion...
