I just realized that the og_civicrm_sync module for 1.9 was developed for OG-5.x-3.1

I suspect the code changes in OG-5.x-4.0 result in the error users are getting. Please use the OG 3.1 version for 1.9. We'll make this module compatible with OG 4.0 in CiviCRM 2.0

most likely this is due to bad session state. I got the same error when switching from civicrm 2.0 to civicrm 1.9

can u please do the following:

1. truncate the drupal session table
2. log into drupal and perform a couple of civicrm operations (so it can fix the user <-> contact table). Do 3 searches or so just to make sure
3. create an og node

step 2 is quite important since we need to know the contactID for the user who is creating the OG

I just received an email alerting to this issue being updated on the Issue Tracker. It says that it was resolved & can't be reproduced. Does this mean it has been fixed or that you could not reproduce the error thus you can't figure out what to fix. I'm confused. HELP! :)

Followed the three steps and the error still occurs. I completely removed all sessions from the session table, tried to create group pages and groups using CiviCRM but the problem still occurs. When I try to create using the "Create Content" option and then the default content type for creating group pages, the page is created but the error occurs and CiviCRm is not populated.

Not sure why i cannot reproduce the error. Since you have PHP expertise you might want to help us debug (and potentially fix the code). Alternatively you can get on IRC and we can chat about it.

Hey,

I have tried both suggestions you had:
- Installing OG 3.1 instead of the 4.1 version
- truncating the session table

Both did not work. I am really helpless now at the moment because I do not have an idea how to try to solve the problem. Do you have other ideas how the problem could be solved?
