Thanks, Donald - I changed the lines manually and ran the mailing command from the browser. The browser reloaded for a long time (with the original code I'd just get a blank page almost right away), but the mailing is still stuck.

Should I try canceling the mailing and trying to send it again with the change? Standing by... thanks!

Looks like the patch did the trick - the mailing has resumed! Nice job, Lobo!

Updating existing sites - looks like this was already fixed in the 3.3.1 release - is that correct? Thanks!

No, we encountered the problem in 3.3.1 . Lobo has committed the fix r31199 for inclusion in 3.3.2 .

Through CiviSMTP we were able to achieve between 5,000 and 6,000/hour single threaded.  What value would someone recommend we use to up that rate in "Mailer Job Size"?  Would it make sense that if we set this at 2 it would double the amount of emails we could send out/hour?  What would be a reasonable number to set this value to?

We typically have mailings that go to 100,000 plus.
