Being trying this extension the past couple of days and it works really well, thanks Nicholas!

Only problems I'm hitting now is integration with the Google Apps directory (in Mac Address book, android address book etc) isn't great, but that's nothing to do with you…

I'm planning a blog post around my exploits soon.

Thanks Chris, can't wait for that blog post!

As food for thoughts, you have to take into account that there might potentially be millions of contacts in an enterprise directory, so any kind of 'sync' between this directory and a client device or application is out of question. You must instead resort to a 'query' mechanism. Once you get this, you understand why the integration with Google Apps directory, or an LDAP directory for example, is designed this way in client applications.

I did read that but the contacts do not appear under Directory. Its been a week now since installing. All seemed to go well installing - all the apps asked for permission and seemed to integrate seamlessly, including the additional 3rd party ones you mention.

Thank you for your time in creating and supporting this great application - it should really assist many people leverage Google apps awesomeness. A great departure for civi.

Lionsharz,

This is most probably a setup issue. Can you please:
- in CiviCRM, go to the extension setup screen and take a screenshot (no passwords are displayed),
- in CiviCRM, go to the Scheduled Jobs, find the Google apps sync job in the list, select View log, take another screenshot,
- in Google Apps, go to the Contacts app, click on Directory and take another screenshot (mask last names and any other sensitive info).

Then PM me these screenshots and I will try to figure out what's wrong.
