Nevermind - figured it out! Thought there was SVN business to take care of, but then I realized you were just showing the DIFF.

Worked like a charm. Many thanks!

we started bootstrapping drupal for cronjobs in 3.2 and hence now respect all ACL's U'll need to give your cron job user permissions to edit/view all contacts, so they can see all groups (and hence all mailings) and maybe even access CiviMail

OK, adding a role with just edit/view all contacts and using a user with that role did the trick.  Thanks lobo!

Does that help you jimmyjam?

The next challenge is to figure out why the cli version still doesn't work.  I had to create a symlink to my site directory in "sites/" with "bin" appended to it (e.g. "www.example.combin" - seriously!), since strace showed that's where Drupal it was looking for settings.php.  This may be due to me using a few symlinks in my installation - but I generally have no problems.  However, even with that hack in place the cli version of the cron job exits with 255... but doesn't print anything useful.  I can see it loading all of my modules in the strace output but then it just exits.  I wonder if the user will need more permissions for the cli version?
