Datepicker Ineternet Explorer
January 12, 2011, 02:06:35 pm
Hey guys,

I am not sure how to approach this, since I upgraded one of my sites to 3.3.2 (from 3.2.0), all internet explorer users cannot access the date picker function, which makes it impossible for them to enter their DOB when registering for an event.

Anyone else having this problem?

Brian,

1. Can you check if this issue is related to your theme.
2. If not then can you check if you get any errors in firebug console
3. If not then please attach screenshot

Kurund,

I updated the JS packages for the front end template and it seems to have fixed the problem.

fixed!

there must have been a conflict with 2 different javascripts running. it was conflicting with my "Get Satisfaction" feedback survey.

There's a similar-sounding jsTree bug discussed here:

Yoda Oz, I am still having the same problem on a different site, how did you isolate the JS packages?

Kurund, is there a way to turn off the date picker for the DOB Field?

what is the url for your site?

i basically used firebug to determine which scripts were running then tried to disable them one by one. luckily the first one i tried to disable worked!

I followed Dave's advice from this topic
http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,18031.msg74774.html#msg74774

that did the trick

You can have Drupal aggregate your css files and prevent this by setting Bandwidth Optimization > CSS option under Site Configuration >> Performance.
