Hi Jim,

I was looking at CiviBoxOffice, which looks like it might be interesting for us.  Have you abandoned the project, or is there some development somewhere other than github?

Will it work with civi 4.x?

Thanks.

Definitely not abandoned.  We hired Giant Rabbit to complete the development and QA for it, and it's been in production use on our site (bactheatre.org) for a year now.

I just updated the github repository with our production code.  Our production site is still on Drupal 6 / CiviCRM 4.2.  I did test the civiboxoffice extension with D7 / Civi 4.3 at one point, but there have been quite a few updates and changes since then.

I'd love to get some more orgs involved in using and maintaining this.  I recently did a demo for Nicolas Ganivet @ Cividesk and he may also have some clients who are interested in using it.

Yes, we would definitely jump on the maintenance and further development of CiviBoxOffice provided we have a client or two using it as part of our Software as a Service offering. First thing we would plan for is a port to 4.4 as this is the only version of CiviCRM we have in production. From what I've seen the D7 port should not be much as mostly based on Drupal Views and some JS.

rjm - would you be interested in a SaaS offering (hosting + maintenance + end-user support)?

For the record, anyone interested in standard hosting or in CiviCRM SAAS can find on the CiviCRM web site a Hosting providers page with a list of "organizations that specialize in CiviCRM hosting."

Yes, this has been in production use on our site for ~2 years.  I sent you a PM with my contact info -- happy to help you troubleshoot.
