Ok, I submitted the application. I also created the student application template, do feel free to edit as needed.

And wonderful opportunity to use either the survey/petition or the coleman's webform module once the form is ready to be used.

For that A/B testing, would integration with Open Web Analytics be useful?

I did use http://github.com/gregdingle/genetify/wiki

No matter what, I'd suggest integrating with an existing tool indeed.
