An event contains multiple time slots?
April 18, 2011, 11:40:39 pm
I had an event with multiple time slots.  Volunteers are allows to participate any time slot within this event.  However, I didn’t want to create multiple events.  Is there any way to achieve?

Thanks!

Have you considered a Participant Custom Field?

I need to record the max.  number of participants of each time slot.  If a time slot’s participants equals to max.  participants, that time slot can’t be applied by volunteer anymore.  Then, how to achieve?

Maybe try using a Price Set where each time slot is a price set field. You can set maximum number allowed by price set field.

Im attempting to do a similar thing to edon here. Set up an event with 60max participants, created a price set with 6 price set fields each having max participants of 10. Filled up one of these with 10 registrations and am still able to add more, not sure whats going wrong here.

If you've set Max Participants field value to 10 and the price set field, and it's not being enforced at registration - might be a bug. Can u replicate on the public demo and report back here w/ results and exact steps to set it up?

leemako :
It seems that count per price set field is NOT being respected, could replicate it on my local install.
We 'll file an issue shortly.

Thanks for catching this :)
