Wasn't sure where to post this but wanted to see if anyone had already done this because we will be implementing this for my client in the next 2 months.  We are locking down the site to require that everyone have an account before becoming a member or registering for an event.

In a nutshell, someone coming to the site is one of 3 types of roles - Prospect (never registered for an event or joined as member in their lifetime); Lapsed Member or Current Member.  Based on these roles and the particular form they are on, i.e., event, membership, contribute, etc. we want to present tailored fee options.

We've had a lot of difficulty in the past with non-members registering at member's rate and vice-versa.  Now we will require them to login so that we can present them with the correct choice for their role.

Just wondering if anyone has already done this in the community.
