if its not there in the mapping field, its not available to import currently

if important to you/your org, consider submitting a patch (or sponsoring a developer) to add this functionality. Will help improve the system and also benefit other users down the road

Hello civc12,

If you need to import Phone extensions the easiest way would be to create a custom field (Phone ext.) for Contacts. you will then be able to map the Phone Ext Column in your CSV file to the Phone Ext field in CiviCRM. This won't populate the current extension field in Civi, however, you will have it in your contact's summary.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Jason
