Re: Doing a table swap as upgrade - Joomla with Civi 3.1.4

Update...  I got the system to work with both the latest version of Joomla (2.5.6) and Civi (4.1.5).

The main issue now is that when logged in to the Civi admin panel the main Civi Menu does not appear.  The left column and dashboard shows up but the meu items do not.

I notice that the "civicrm_preferences" table is missing from the database following the upgrade.  Is that normal in version 4.1.5?  When I imported just that table from a previous version nothing changes.

Any ideas?  I am also going to open a new thread with this particular issue since the main idea of this thread is completed.
