the batch geocoder job takes two parameters: start and end which limit the contact id set it looks at (seems a bit wierd since that does not seem super useful, IMO)

can you contribute a patch to also process a 'limit' parameter which will limit the number of geocode entries. Seems like a good project to get involved with

I ended up using http://smartystreets.com/
the cost was reasonable- and service was fast.
Once I had the 100,000 coded- everything else worked fine with updates and changes.
