Also, with a fairly default setup (Drupal "Garland" theme for layout, two columns) IE7 can render the Advanced Search screen incorrectly, hiding the "Search" buttons at both top and bottom on smaller resolutions.

This is an IE7-specific issue, but it should be possible to find some workaround still, and for those of us who need to access CiviCRM via IE (we have staff in a govt institution who have restrictions on software they are free to install) it would be helpful.

Pretty sure it will just be a CSS fix, but not one I've had to attack yet.

The biggest hiccups I am facing right now are:

1) mail - I am hoping that the massmail_civicrm module will help here as we only need the unsubscribe level of functionality it provides but there are a few bugs still. I will go back to MS Office mail merges for now. Also, if I do get a mail program working I still have to determine that the user interface is simple enough for our users. Maybe TinyMCE will cut it but they are used to sending out word docs & pdfs with pictures etc. NB - I have thought about civiSMTP but have decided that the paying $5 per month is difficult administratively as we don't have credit cards and do have a cashbook based accounting system which relies on downloading transactions from one bank account.

2) reporting on $$$ received from each event. I have concluded that there is no link between the events & contributions so this isn't possible . This is a big limitation for us but I imagine we may have to go without for some time

3) Sending out invoices. This relates to pending event registrations not firing invoices and also we need to do occasional ad hoc invoices. I have installed Drupal invoices which will have to do for now.

I think that none of these issues will be solved in the near future so I will probably focus now on finding the easiest way of downloading the mailing list & user training.

I will aim so post a case study before too long

I'm evaluating CiviCRM for use in our online school... and we need income reporting for events and membership. Wondering if this functionality is planned for a future release? thx.

I think it has been suggested earlier in this thread that a risk of having all these problems in this thread is that they aren't so easy to follow or find compared to having them just entered as a 'new topic'. Not pointing at any in particular, and I have enjoyed the collection of things here, but seems that many are no bigger problems than those being floated in other topics.

HI to NVCA - the discussion on the events reporting has come along since I posted that - try this thread. To put it simply - there is a custom search available which will help with this.
