Michael is right. Custom fields do appear as display columns. And the one tested on demo, also has display columns as pointed by Michael.

Hi jsimonis,

in your screen shot posted on April 17th, I noticed the "Event Registration" collapsible section is not expanded (and is cut off at the bottom of your image).  This is the dark grey bar section right below the "Fee Level" "Fee Amount" etc checkboxes.  Your custom fields should be within this expandable section, which is nested within the Report Criteria collapsible section.  It has the same name as your custom data set.

Michael!!! Wonderful! That is what I was expecting / hoping to see. Unfortunately, I don't find that (see attached). I am just choosing a standard report in the demo per the url in the screenshot.

Thoughts?!?!
I am just logging in with 'demo' / 'demo'.

On this demo report example, the custom data is in the section "Constituent Information".  You'll see this section is featured twice in the Criteria section, once in the "Display Columns" sub section, and once in the "Set Filters" sub section.  Are you saying that you can see your custom data set only below the "Set Filters" title and not above that?

Could you attach a screen shot similar to the one attached here that shows both the Display Columns and Set Filters sections?

You all are my heroes. I see it now. I think the fact it was listed twice (once in "Display Columns" sub section, and once in the "Set Filters" sub section) must have made my eyes glaze over. So obvious. I guess I was staring at the screen for too long.

Great, glad that was it.  You're not alone, I often get this question when people start working with reports, so always try to point it out when training.
