@dlobo: I agree. I was discussing this idea with Michael McAndrew on skype yesterday ... perhaps we can schedule one or two Bug Smithing Days in a week or two ... we would ideally set this up so some of the core team members are available for a quick turnaround. We've seen this a lot in the Joomla release plans.

Yep my point as Lobo picks up is that while many of us will say 'yes we will do some testing', setting a date really can help people say 'yes, i will do some testing and i will put aside some time on the 35rd of janvember to do it because others will be doing so too, and that helps me make and keep a commitment to doing this rather than just putting it off repeatedly - kind of like getting married ;-)
