new to civi and wordpress need help in integrating for membership site

I need to set up a membership site so I need some help figuring this out

I run it on wordpress

I would like the visitor to register as a wordpress user, so they have their own login and password which gets confirmed with the email they provided

So once they are a worpress user then they can become a free or paid member by signing up with civirm

After they sign up will their profile reflect that they are members, their membership level and how long they have till it all expires or is this something that they only get by email , specific days before it expires?

I have CiviMember Role Synchronize plugin installed and Access Controll is available with civirm 4.3.1 which I currently run

Unless there was a good reason to force the 'create user account' before they get to a membership page - (in Drupal - don't know wordpress) you can force the Profile on the Contribution Page to 'require Drupal user'

Users can then access their Contact Dashboard to see their membership - however we don't usually find that sufficient so use a Views Block to display their membership info on their /user page.

Not sure how that translates to Wordpress but thought I should mention it in case it is of some help

In WordPress you can also force the profile to require the user to create an account. It is under the 'Advanced Settings' when you setup a profile. It will give the user the ability to check if desired username is available and select a password all as part of the membership form. Saves a step for your users.

One more thing, make sure you have 'Anyone can Register' checked in WordPress general settings or the account creation fields will not show in your form.
